A governmental body in Yukon is seeking a Senior Policy Advisor to lead complex policy initiatives and provide strategic advice to senior management. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a related field, along with excellent research and communication skills. This position involves collaboration across various sectors and contributing to the territory's economic decision-making. The successful candidate will work independently, manage workloads effectively, and may require some travel within Canada.
This posting is to fill a permanent position and a one-year term position, working 75 hours bi-weekly.

The Policy, Planning and Communications Branch provides expert analysis, policy advice, and clear communication to guide decision-making. The team works closely with partners across government, industry, and communities to ensure decisions are informed, strategic, and impactful. Our work ensures a consistent, forward-looking approach to government policy and planning. As Senior Policy Advisor, you will lead complex policy initiatives that influence programs and inform decisions at the highest levels. You’ll provide strategic advice to the Minister, support operational directors, and represent Yukon on intergovernmental committees to advance agreements, regulatory frameworks, and policy positions that shape the territory’s economic future. Job Requirements: 10% travel
