A leading engineering firm in Calgary is seeking a Pipeline Engineer to execute and oversee pipeline engineering projects. Candidates should have a Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering degree, and at least 5 years of experience in pipeline engineering. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years pipeline engineering experience with at least 3 years recent EPCM experience focused on pipeline engineering.

Responsibilities

• Execute all aspects of Pipeline Engineering activities.
• Oversee and mentor junior pipeline engineers.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables.
• Develop and manage project specifications.
• Perform calculations for pipeline design.

Strong communication skills

Pipeline project execution (NPS 3 to NPS 42)

Experience in multi-discipline teams

Designing pipeline systems to CSA Z662

Expert level knowledge of CSA Z662

Familiarity with API 5L

Pipeline calculations experience

Procurement support for pipeline materials

Experience in trenchless crossing design

Education
