The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of design experience, a college-level degree in Fashion Design, and proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop. Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in a similar role.
• Relevant experience in contemporary fashions is a strong asset.
• Proven knowledge of the production cycle.

Responsibilities

• Present seasonal lines developed according to market trends.
• Support merchandiser in specific design development projects.
• Conduct trend research and keep up to date with trends.
• Collaborate with buyers and sales team on customer needs.
• Create design and technical sketches using CAD.
• Develop detailed technical packages including BOMs.
• Oversee design to ensure adherence to production calendar.
• Work closely with technical team to ensure styling and quality.
• Approve production samples.

Skills

Strong knowledge of Illustrator
