The Opportunity:
WSP is currently seeking a motivated Senior Municipal Engineer to join our Municipal Engineering team, located at our Regina or Saskatoon office. Reporting to the Manager, Land Development & Municipal Engineering - Saskatchewan, this position will be responsible for delivering projects for public and Indigenous community clients, leading municipal water, wastewater, drainage and roadway infrastructure projects including planning, design and construction administration services. As a key member of the team, you will deal directly with clients and approval and regulatory agencies.

What you can expect to do here:
- Assist in the growth of WSP\'s Municipal Engineering presence in Saskatchewan by growing our public sector and Indigenous community municipal engineering client base and project portfolio.
- Provide project management, engineering and technical expertise; Project components include project planning, studies, preliminary design, detailed design, and services during construction in public sector and Indigenous communities municipal engineering projects.
- Build, lead, and manage multidisciplinary project teams with support from offices both regionally and nationally, focused on client specified requirements.
- Driving productivity, motivation, and performance. Ensure compliance with established quality and production procedures. Provide leadership to sustain a culture of continual improvement and client satisfaction.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, regulatory and utility agencies, and contractors.
- Uphold the company’s core values and maintain Health and Safety at the highest level.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring to WSP:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Must be registered as a Professional Engineer or eligible for registration with APEGS
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of the Saskatchewan market
- Must possess a proven track record in business development, including a strong existing client base in public sector and/or Indigenous community municipal engineering projects
- Demonstrated success in customer services, client management and proposal/report writing
- Must possess strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to lead and manage a diverse team
- Ability to work independently; and
- Ability to mentor junior staff.
