As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute your technical leadership to impactful, multidisciplinary projects that support safer, more efficient, and more sustainable mining, metals and industrial infrastructure systems. You’ll guide design, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams to deliver solutions that help communities and industries thrive.

This position will be located in one of our Atlantic offices.

Your Impact
  • Lead mechanical engineering design packages from concept development through detailed engineering, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with project goals.
  • Develop mechanical systems, specifications, calculations, and deliverables that support safe, reliable, and high‑performing operations for mining, metals, heavy industrial clients.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical design with process, structural, electrical, controls, and construction requirements.
  • Review designs, drawings, and engineering documents to ensure quality, constructability, and adherence to industry codes and best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to intermediate and junior engineers, supporting team growth and capability development.
  • Engage directly with clients, contractors, and internal partners to solve complex technical challenges and advance project delivery.

  • You’ve built deep expertise in mechanical engineering through hands‑on project work across industrial, energy, mining, or infrastructure environments.
  • You bring proven experience solving real‑world engineering challenges, from equipment specification to system design and integration.
  • You’re comfortable working in the field or onsite as needed and adhere to all safety requirements.
  • You have working proficiency with mechanical design and modeling tools and continuously grow your technical toolkit.
  • You hold (or are eligible for) a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada.
  • You care about doing work that matters—to clients, communities, and the world around you.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 – $162,800

MB & ON: $112,100 – $154,400

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $111,000 – $147,400
