Responsibilities
  • Leads a team of Mill Sales Managers in the US North and Canadian regions.
  • Supports sales, bookings, and business plans for: Pulp, Energy and Circularity (parts, field service, workshop services and improvement projects)
  • Facilitate diagnosis of production process / performance issues related to sales / service.
  • Secure orders and quoting opportunities from existing and potential customers.
  • Supports team in the quotation process and ensures timely follow up with customers.
  • Resolve communication or pipeline delays with stakeholders.
  • Provides market trends and analysis, including competitor activity, lost orders, and pricing changes.
  • Establishes professional relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, mill management, etc.).
  • Manage customer satisfaction and meet net promoter score objectives.
  • Submits weekly activity / call reports.
  • Manages the territory sales forecast / budget for assigned areas.
Expectations

To excel in the role, you must be able to establish professional relationships with appropriate internal and external stakeholders. You should expect to interface daily with customer personnel such as Purchasing, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Mill Management. You will also work with and intentionally collaborates with an internal network of Technology managers, Product managers, Mill Sales Managers, Valmet production leaders, and other subject matter experts.

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree from a four-year college or university, with at least 5 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in the Pulp and Paper industry also preferred.

Must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
