About this opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager, WWR Maintenance & Planning, the Senior Maintenance Planner is responsible to plan maintenance work scopes related to the assigned West White Rose systems. This role will conduct weekly planning including assignment of materials and resources to work orders, responding to technical and engineering requests, and coordinating vendors for offshore campaigns.

This position is located at our St. John, NL office.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee preventative maintenance programs using SAP Plant Maintenance software to reduce maintenance backlog while maintaining optimum uptime
  • Work with Discipline Responsible Engineers on technical aspects, including material obsolescence and vendor site visit recommendations
  • Vendor management including scheduling offshore campaigns, raising service requisitions, confirming training and competence of vendors/service providers, and ensuring vendor reports are issued and SAP notifications are created
  • Assist Supply Chain Management with procurement and management of materials, including back loading, onshore repairs, fabrication, and refurbishment
  • Improve planning and execution processes to optimize reliability and availability of systems
  • Monitor SAP to ensure a high standard of data integrity, with closure of work orders in a timely manner
Qualifications
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Journeyman Certificate in Millwright or Pipefitting, or a Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience in the oil and gas industry, in planned maintenance systems and offshore facilities along with local regulatory requirements
