They are currently looking to add a Senior IT Project Engineer to their growing team. In this leadership role, you will take ownership of the Project Deployment function, working closely with a Junior Project Engineer while delivering a wide range of client-facing IT initiatives.

The Senior IT Project Engineer will be responsible for leading and executing complex IT projects across our client’s customer base. This role combines hands-on technical delivery with project leadership and mentorship, ensuring solutions are delivered efficiently, securely, and to a high standard. You will play a key role in designing scalable systems, guiding junior staff, and contributing to continuous improvement across project operations.
Lead IT Projects: Plan, manage, and execute end-to-end IT projects, including server upgrades, VM migrations, and network configurations.
Design Client-Centric Solutions: Lead and collaborate on designing custom IT solutions tailored to client needs, including VOIP telephony solutions on the 3CX platform.
Cloud Management: Independently manage and migrate files and directories to cloud platforms such as Azure AD, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Network Management: Install, configure, and maintain wireless access points, switches, routers, and other network components.
Provide Technical Leadership: Mentor and support junior engineers, maintaining high standards of technical delivery and client satisfaction.
VOIP Telephony: Lead the installation and configuration of VOIP telephony solutions on the 3CX platform.
Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed project documentation, reporting progress and challenges to the Project Coordinator.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Coordinator on scheduling, stakeholder communication, and project updates.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience delivering IT projects, including VOIP telephony solutions on the 3CX platform.
5+ years of experience with SonicWall and/or Fortinet firewalls.
Experience with Ubiquiti Networks switches and wireless access points.
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware, Azure AD, and network configurations.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, VMware Certified Professional, CCNP, NCE) are highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Previous experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is considered an asset.
Full-time position with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as projects require.
Primarily office-based with occasional travel to client locations.
