Overview

Senior Full Stack Developer / Technical Lead

This position is based in Toronto with a structured hybrid work model of at least 3 days in the office per week. The first month requires full-time office work for training.

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer ready to lead, mentor, and grow into a pivotal leadership role. The role involves hands-on development, collaborating with the CTO, and evolving into a technical leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

• Own critical features and systems (frontend, backend, infrastructure)
• Lead and mentor our development team
• Design and deliver scalable solutions with the CTO
• Promote engineering excellence and best practices
• Contribute to architecture and technical strategy
• Establish coding standards and documentation
• Assist in hiring and onboarding
• Leverage AI tools to automate and optimize processes
• Gradually assume broader leadership responsibilities

Technology Stack

• Frameworks & Languages: React 18, TypeScript, Go (Golang)
• Routing & State: React Router, React Hooks
• Database: PostgreSQL with Kysely

Qualifications

• Experience with blockchain technologies and decentralized systems
