Job summary

Affim is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Marketing & Privacy Engineering (MPE) team. You will own web app architecture, instrumentation, and integrations across GTM, analytics, and experimentation platforms to support scalable, privacy-conscious consumer web experiences.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, analytics, and data engineering to ensure performance, measurement, and consent considerations are built in from the start.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing and architecting web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
• Proficient in Javascript/Typescript.
• Hands-on with web instrumentation and marketing tech (GTM/sGTM, analytics, experimentation platforms, APIs).
• Experience designing reliable, performant web systems with thoughtful data collection and privacy considerations.
• Ability to define a technical plan for delivering large features with clean design.
• Ability to make significant changes in a large code base with tooling and safe practices.
• Proven growth mindset and proactive feedback-seeking.
• Strong written and verbal communication for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team, guiding engineers through ambiguity and supporting delivery.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics to ideate, constrain, and trade-off decisions with risk awareness.
• Identify issues and lead efforts to solve them.
• Support operations and availability by building metrics, escalating when needed, and on-call participation.
• Foster quality and ownership by setting code/design standards and evangelizing them.
• Mentor teammates and lead by example with feedback.
