Affirm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Marketing & Privacy Engineering team to shape architecture and reliability of high-traffic web experiences. You will work on GTM integrations, analytics, experimentation, and measurement while collaborating with product, marketing, and data teams.

You will own quarterly goals, drive quality, and help develop teammates in a remote-first role open to Canada-based applicants. Base pay ranges reflect local markets and equity opportunities.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience developing and architecting web applications with declarative UI frameworks (React or Vue).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with web instrumentation and marketing tech such as GTM and analytics platforms.
• Experience designing reliable, performant consumer web systems considering consent, cookies, tagging and observability.
• Ability to define technical plans for delivering significant features with elegant design.
• Experience making significant changes in large code bases with safe tooling and practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration across global teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team and lead engineers through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product management, design and analytics to balance constraints and risks.
• Proactively identify and solve project, process, technology or business issues.
• Monitor metrics and contribute to on-call support to keep systems reliable.
• Raise code quality and design standards and advocate for them beyond your team.
• Develop talent by providing feedback and guidance and leading by example.
