Job summary

A leading pet food company located in Toronto is seeking a finance professional to oversee financial reporting and audits. You will manage month-end and year-end processes, coordinate audits, and ensure accurate reporting. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, 3-4 years of experience (Big Four preferred), and strong Excel skills. This role requires on-site presence two to three days a week in downtown Toronto, with a hybrid work model in place.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience, ideally with a Big Four Accounting Firm.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close processes and reconciliations.
• Coordinate and manage the annual financial audit process.
• Evaluate and enhance internal controls for financial reporting.
