Job Title

Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will lead cross‑functional efforts to manage RBI’s Services groups and partner with leadership and their direct reports. This role involves leading Service G&A and Capex by providing monthly, quarterly, annual, and long‑range budget/forecast reports.

Responsibilities
  • Own G&A and Capex variance analysis, comparing actual results to budgets/forecasts and prior year results for internal reporting.
  • Present G&A and Capex monthly results to business owners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of content.
  • Present G&A and Capex results to Senior leadership on a monthly basis.
  • Provide ad hoc support and financial modeling for various projects, producing actionable insights.
  • Introduce meaningful analytical models for the cross‑functional leadership team, identifying opportunities to guide strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with expense owners to create and manage purchase orders in Coupa.
  • Reconcile existing purchase orders with the internal Global Business Partners team by working with vendors to clear existing accounts/invoices.
  • Process invoices for payment within contractual payment terms.
  • Communicate organized and accurate statuses of payments and purchase orders to internal teams.
  • Conduct forecasting and budgeting activities, including monthly analyses and annual budget preparations.
  • Meet with managers and directors to gather spend information and later present to VPs and Senior Directors.
  • Build relationships with leaders and seek feedback during monthly presentations.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and finance/accounting experience.
  • Experience in a large organization.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, H&V Lookup, Formulas, and Macros.
  • Knowledge of Power BI.
  • Familiarity with OneStream, SAP, and Coupa.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in communicating with executives.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in finance/accounting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Potential support for CPA designation.
  • Opportunity for conversion to full‑time after 6 months.
  • High exposure to high‑level executives on a regular basis.

Work Environment

The position requires working five days a week in the office, with 40 hours per week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Strict deadlines necessitate efficient time management, but overtime is not expected. The dress code is business casual.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toronto, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
