A leading clean-technology company in Canada is looking for an Electrical Testing Technician to perform testing, measurement, and failure analysis of electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a Certificate of Technology and at least three years of lab experience. Responsibilities include leading projects, developing test procedures, and performing repairs on testing equipment. The salary is competitive, ranging from $70K to $76K annually, with a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Powertech’s Field Services team brings lab-level precision into real-world conditions. Whether supporting engineering investigations, assessing equipment health, or helping teams meet regulatory and safety standards, we deliver diagnostics and insight—right where you need them. From generating stations to remote industrial sites, we assist utilities, OEMs, and equipment owners bridge field conditions with engineering insight to strengthen planning and operations.
Performs a variety of project work associated with the testing, measurement and failure analysis of electrical equipment and components.
Please be advised that this role has been assessed as safety sensitive and pre-qualification alcohol and drug testing will be required as a pre-condition to employment.
A condition of employment for this job is that you maintain your Driver's License (Class 5) in good standing.
If there are no fully qualified applicants, candidates who do not meet the experience requirements, may be considered as Electrical Testing Technologist 1 Trainees. Applicants with demonstrated applicable experience may be given partial credit towards the four (4) year program.
