The Opportunity

General Bank of Canada is looking for a permanent, full-time Senior Director, Business Development, Commercial Services Group to join as a key contributor with the Bank's Commercial Services group. Consistent with the growth trajectory of the Bank, this is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to contribute to building the Bank of the future with considerable potential for learning, growth, and advancement.

The Senior Director, Business Development, Commercial Services Group is primarily accountable for driving growth and profitability within the commercial banking division of the Bank by developing and executing strategic business development initiatives. This role will focus on acquiring new business clients, expanding relationships with existing clients / financial partners, and enhancing the Bank's market position and reputation within the industry.

This individual will collaborate with the Commercial Services Group to set and achieve financial goals, identify potential product offerings, and act as a subject matter expert providing insights and recommendations to Senior Management. As a member of the Commercial leadership team, the Senior Director, Business Development, Commercial Services Group will ensure client satisfaction throughout the business development, underwriting, and funding processes.
