A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their team in Central London.

The main objective is to support a Procurement Manager in delivering various project procurement strategies. You will:

• Manage the day to day project procurement of materials and subcontracts
• Manage the tender process for subcontract packages
• Work with project teams to deliver procurement requirements
• Ensure savings, rebates and compliance are achieved in line with project strategies

Further Details

You will be managing the end to end tender process for subcontracts packages across a variety of Network Rail projects in the south of England.

Projects can range from £500k to £30m+ across overhead lines, track works, civils, embankments, stations and depots.

Candidate Requirements

Our client is looking for candidates with 3+ years' subcontract procurement experience from a main contractor.

Must have experience working within a civils or building project environment.

Ideally you will currently be working as a Senior Buyer, or an experienced Buyer looking for a step up.

Salary

Between £55,000 - £85,000 depending on role and experience.
