Position Overview

Do you have a passion for media & Entertainment? Are you ready to move into corporate strategy after a successful consulting career? Our Media & Entertainment division is looking for a Senior Business Strategy Manager, responsible for leading research and analysis, keeping a pulse on the business, and providing insights-based guidance and advice to middle and upper management. You will have experience in management consulting and you will drive strategy and growth plans for Autodesk's M&E portfolio and handle multiple roles and responsibilities while delivering results.

The role comprises working autonomously, as well as leveraging cross-functional subject matter experts and external consulting providers. In addition, the ability to combine expert analytical skills and the ability to autonomously craft and communicate compelling insights to senior management is essential. This is a role with high visibility and impact on our business and go-to-market strategies for our Media & Entertainment business.

Location: You can be based in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver (Hybrid / Remote Options Available) and will report to the Senior Director, M&E Business Strategy.

Responsibilities
  • You will use your consulting experience to develop strategies for the Media & Entertainment division at Autodesk
  • You will identify strategic opportunities and anticipate business challenges that may have significant impact on Autodesk’s M&E division growth and success
  • You will proactively develop solutions to address these opportunities and threats
  • You will collaborate with the Product, Marketing and Sales teams to influence and implement growth plans including successful GTM approaches for new SaaS products and platforms
  • You will work closely with the industry strategy team in providing feedback on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to develop and drive highly innovative business solutions
  • You will lead market research and analyze data with qualitative research to inform product development and marketing strategies
  • You will develop relationships with partners, including executives, customers, partners, and industry associations
  • You will present findings and make recommendations to senior leadership and other partners (both internal and external)
Minimum Qualifications
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • MBA or comparable advanced degree is preferred
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a strategic role, ideally in management consulting
  • You have experience in a technology related field and understanding of SaaS platform and AI business models
  • You have excellent executive presentation skills and are an expert in Excel and storytelling in PowerPoint using your analysis
  • You have a proven ability to lead and influence as part of a matrixed and geographically dispersed global organization
  • You have the ability to travel up to 20%, including internationally
