Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture and Engineering:
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions primarily on AWS and secondarily on Azure.
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization projects, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
Automation and DevOps:
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Client templates.
  • Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Implement configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure cloud environments adhere to security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2, HIPAA).
  • Implement identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and monitoring solutions.
Monitoring and Optimization:
  • Set up cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, or Prometheus.
  • Optimize cloud resource usage and cost through performance tuning and rightsizing.
Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cloud engineering best practices and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Cloud Expertise:
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience with Azure services (VMs, Azure Functions, Storage, Networking, etc.).
Automation and DevOps:
  • Strong experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Security and Networking:
  • Solid understanding of cloud security principles, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
Certifications (Preferred):
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar.
