Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture and Engineering:- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions primarily on AWS and secondarily on Azure.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization projects, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
Automation and DevOps:- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Client templates.
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Implement configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Security and Compliance:- Ensure cloud environments adhere to security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2, HIPAA).
- Implement identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and monitoring solutions.
Monitoring and Optimization:- Set up cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, or Prometheus.
- Optimize cloud resource usage and cost through performance tuning and rightsizing.
Collaboration and Leadership:- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cloud engineering best practices and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Cloud Expertise:- 8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.).
- 3+ years of experience with Azure services (VMs, Azure Functions, Storage, Networking, etc.).
Automation and DevOps:- Strong experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Security and Networking:- Solid understanding of cloud security principles, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
Certifications (Preferred):- AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar.
