Job Title: Senior Application User Acceptance Test Specialist
Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Duration: 9 + Months
Daily Responsibilities:
- Translating business requirements into test cases and executing them in the testing environment.
- Running manual tests to identify defects, document results, and publish findings to SharePoint.
- Communicating bugs to the team, walk through test scenarios with colleagues to validate coverage, and collaborate with the Operational Risk Management and IT teams to resolve issues.
- Maintaining consistent communication with project and business teams while ensuring tests cover all essential functionalities and business objectives.
Must Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in user acceptance testing, quality assurance, or a related field. Experience in senior or lead roles is preferred.
- Proven ability to identify data inconsistencies, gaps, and compatibility issues.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in testing and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
- Strong data analytical skills and experience with SQL to identify gaps in data migration process.
Nice to have skills:
- Strong working knowledge of Operational Risk Management concepts and processes.
- Experience with operating in an Agile environment.
- Experience with Python Scripting.
