Job Description

In this position, the candidate is responsible for working closely with the Director Finance to manage the day‑to‑day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, journal entries, and general ledger for the food production facilities, using Quickbooks software.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, Journal Entries, and general ledger.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Maintain and update records in QuickBooks efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, if applicable.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Very strong technical skills; proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and QuickBooks.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Passion for food or cooking is an asset.
