Job description

Commissionaires BC is looking for a Relief Support Guard to work Monday to Friday or weekends between 10pm till 9am to support our sites across the lower mainland area.

These permanent full time and casual roles will see you assigned to various sites in Vancouver, Burnaby, New West and Richmond.

Position schedule
Full Time
  • Guaranteed full-time employment (40 hours per week).
  • Typical shifts: 8 hours per day, with flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs.
  • Required availability: Monday to Friday between 10pm till 9am.
Casual
  • Guaranteed casual employment (16 hours per week).
  • Typical shifts: 8 hours per day, with flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs.
  • Required availability: Saturdays and Sundays between 10pm till 9am.
Payrate
  • $25/hr
Requirements
  • Access to reliable vehicle to get to various designated site locations
  • Valid BC Security License
  • Have lived in Canada for a minimum of 5 years and hold PR or citizenship due to clearance requirements
  • Intermediate First Aid certificationValid class 5 BC Drivers Licence and clean drivers abstract
  • Excellent English oral and written skills
Position responsibilities
  • Provide security services across a designated group of primary sites, with flexibility to cover additional locations as required by Operations.
  • Complete site-specific training and obtain all required clearances and certifications before accepting regular shifts.
  • Manage and perform security duties across a range of site, including interior and exterior patrols, access control, administration duties, first response, alarm response etc.
  • Submit incident reports and promptly notify Site Supervisors and Client Service Managers of any incidents.
  • Maintain compliance with Commissionaires BC policies and site-specific procedures.
