Location: Various Sites (including Western Forest Products Mills)

Wage: $20.50/hr - $21.75/hr

Shift Times: Various shifts

Reports to: Client Service Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Control access to the site and perform regular security patrols.
• Proactively respond to and resolve emergencies, incidents, and conflicts.
• Conduct foot patrols to ensure site integrity and safety.
• Accurately document and report all incidents and daily activities.
• Communicate promptly with the Client Service Manager regarding concerns or issues.
• Demonstrate strong multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Follow all occupational health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence and uphold the highest safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must possess a valid B.C. security workers licence.
• You have excellent problem solving skills and professional report writing.
• You can work under pressure and have a calm demeanor.
• You are proficient at operating equipment such as cell phones and two-way radios.

• Able to work independently, especially in the evenings and overnight.
• Provide superior customer service to clients and general public.
• Provide access control and security foot patrols as needed.
• Proactively respond to and resolve emergency situations and conflicts.
• Complete evacuation and emergency response procedures.
• Communicate problems or concerns to the supervisor.
• Possess excellent multi-tasking, problem solving, prioritizing and organizational abilities.
