Job summary

A summer camp organization in Ottawa, Canada, is seeking a Location Manager to lead operations during the camp season. The ideal candidate will ensure daily operations run smoothly and maintain high parent satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing camp programming, coaching staff, handling financial transactions, and evaluating staff performance. Candidates should possess at least 3 years of camp leadership experience, strong communication skills, and be bilingual. Availability from May to August is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in camp leadership and/or management.
• Strong computer skills with Google Drive and related platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability for the full seasonal contract (May–August).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Attend management training sessions and meetings.
• Support the development of camp programming and scheduling.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the camp.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and staff.
• Manage and coach staff throughout the season.
• Conduct staff evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager to ensure efficient operations.
• Manage and track all financial transactions for the site.
