Summary

SUMMARY: The Sales Rep is a vital role for our continued growth, developing a strong level of expertise in the mechanical, operational, and chemical variables that impact process performance. This role will cultivate strong, consultative business relationships to deliver superior operational outcomes. This is an entry-level sales position, working closely with other sales team members, and under the direction of an Account Manager, and reporting directly to the District Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct all company activities in a safe, environmentally responsible manner, per the QHSSE policy.
  • Achieve sales and profitability targets in assigned territory.
  • Work with management to establish goals and sales plans for new business development, customer retention, and organic growth of existing business as well as new product/service introductions.
  • Maintain planning calendar in approved CRM with a minimum of 2 weeks advanced planning.
  • Actively develop qualified sales leads and manage new account sales through all stages of the sales process, including documenting and updating of CRM.
  • Continually develop knowledge of customer process applications and DK technologies resulting in an ability to offer superior program outcomes.
  • Schedule and administer necessary technical training for clients; conduct technical sales seminars.
  • Collaborate with global colleagues to support and promote DK programs.
  • Prepare required sales reports on territory activity and business transactions.
  • Develop comprehensive, actionable sales and business plans for the assigned territory.
  • Travel 30% of the time, including some international travel.
  • Other projects as required.
  • Support and assist in implementing and maintaining certified management systems ascribed to by DKC such as ISO 9001. Identify training needs of personnel. Promote awareness of risks and opportunities associated with their work. Maintain an understanding of the Quality policy and how they personally contribute to meeting DKC objectives and goals
  • Support and assist in implementing and maintaining the RCMS program. Identify training needs of personnel. Promote awareness of the RCMS guiding principles and Dorf Ketal's HSSE policy, objectives and goals in addition to how they can contribute to them.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science discipline
  • Experience/Skills:
    • Experience in oilfield and/or chemical sales is preferred
    • Ability to obtain and maintain security credentials for plant access as necessary for appropriate business unit; including TWIC, DISA, OSHA Basic Plus, Background Check, and DOT Drug Screening.
Work Conditions

This position requires working in an outdoor environment, often in remote locations and/or with exposure to extreme weather conditions, moderate to loud noise levels. Employees will need to be able to stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl, bend, feel with hands and fingers, push, pull, reach, walk, stand, climb (stairs/ladders/equipment,) lift (up to 50 lbs.), and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
