Main Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for achieving sales goals and maintaining positive customer relations by supporting Field sales representatives and customers. Improve productivity by ensuring all Field Sales Representatives have high-quality, up-to-date support materials and leads.

Main Tasks:
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads from various sources including ZIM, external databases, trade shows, and directories.
  • Research and prepare materials for customer meetings, including past performance, forecasts, needs, issues, opportunities, and financials.
  • Create and update agreements.
  • Update account plans/profiles based on Field Sales input.
  • Follow up with clients and resolve issues.
  • Address ad-hoc problems.
  • Communicate relevant customer issues to Customer Service and ensure resolution.
  • Inform customers about changes such as rates, schedules, and new shipping methods.
  • Create meeting reports in CRM.
  • Monitor customer performance.
  • Track and report on activities.
  • Screen new and lost customers.
Qualifications:
  • Academic background in Economics, Business Management, Marketing, Logistics, or similar.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Experience in the local FFW/shipping industry is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and CRM systems.
  • Strong command of English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Fluency in French is highly preferred.
