A public health organization in Canada is seeking a Safety Specialist to develop and implement safety programs across multiple healthcare facilities. Reporting to the Program Manager of Health, Safety, and Wellness, the Specialist plays a key role in promoting and maintaining a safe, healthy work environment across all eHealth-supported facilities in Saskatchewan. This position is responsible for developing and implementing safety programs, procedures, policies, and training initiatives, while ensuring adherence to provincial legislation, Workers’ Compensation Board, and other regulatory standards. The Safety Specialist also conducts workplace incident investigations, analyzes safety data to identify trends, and collaborates with organizational leaders to ensure timely and effective completion of corrective actions.
