Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and direction for housekeeping and laundry activities to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and PPE.
- Strip and make beds, change bed linens; lift bedspreads weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
- Vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.
- Ensure all electronic equipment and plumbing fixtures operate correctly.
- Perform daily room refreshment as per guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and controls.
- Maintain work areas clean and organized, restocking carts and linen areas.
- Adhere to departmental safety standards, including wet floor signage and use of biohazard containers when required.
- Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms.
- Sign for room keys, retrieve, and push to assigned rooms; restock heavy carts.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned in housekeeping and laundry.
- Report damage or deficiencies to housekeeping leadership and maintenance departments.
- Handle lost and found in accordance with property policies.
- Assist coworkers to complete tasks as required and support front-of-house duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of hotel housekeeping experience.
- Knowledge of basic sanitation requirements, chemical handling, and safety policies.
- Strong communication skills and a team‑player attitude.
- Supervisor experience with the ability to manage associates and inspect rooms continuously.
