About the role

The Revenue Analyst plays a key role in overseeing the end-to-end revenue accounting process, including revenue recognition and analysis. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys taking on complex challenges. Reporting to the Revenue and Billing Manager, this role requires strong collaboration skills and a proactive mindset. It offers an excellent opportunity for growth and increased responsibility over time.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the month-end revenue accounting cycle and control processes for recurring revenue streams (SaaS, Maintenance & Support).
  • Reviewing contracts and bookings to ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with company policies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide clear, practical revenue accounting guidance on drafted contracts.
  • Applying your knowledge of IFRS 15 to account for customer contracts with multiple performance obligations.
  • Performing variance analyses on SaaS and recurring revenue to identify trends and insights.
  • Partnering with the SaaS Delivery Team to track, record, analyze, and forecast monthly and quarterly revenue.
  • Reviewing account reconciliations, analyzing results, and preparing detailed management reports each month and quarter.
  • Playing a key role in coordinating year-end audit deliverables and ensuring timely responses.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Preparing Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and Remaining Performance Obligation (RPO) reports on a quarterly basis.
  • Contributing to a variety of ad hoc finance projects and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in accounting processes and order management.
  • Strong understanding of bookings, orders, revenue recognition, and forecasting.
  • CPA designation (completed or in progress).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS 15 and multi-element revenue recognition principles.
  • Prior audit experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to a fast-changing environment.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and sound judgment.
  • A true team player who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional settings.
  • Experience with ERP systems; participation in system implementations is an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
