Job summary

Dollarama in Bridgewater, Canada seeks a Store Team Leader to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in day-to-day operations, leading and supervising store associates, merchandising, stocking, and handling shipments.

You will ensure excellent customer service, perform manager-on-duty duties, maintain visual standards, support hiring and training, and help manage safety, cash, opening/closing, and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of retail experience.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Ambition to progress within the company.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising store associates, providing guidance and support.
• Merchandising, shelf stocking, and boxing/unboxing daily shipments.
• Ensuring excellent customer service standards.
• Conducting manager-on-duty tasks (breaks, time, attendance).
• Maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Addressing customer complaints and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintaining store safety and cleanliness standards.
• Performing cash management and opening/closing duties.
• Participating in inventory processes and employee training.
• Assisting with hiring and performance management.
