Dollarama is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily retail operations in Canada, ensuring exceptional customer service and achievement of sales targets. You will act as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager's absence and support staffing, training, and visual merchandising to uphold brand standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and decision-making in a fast-paced environment, with open availability required to cover day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of retail experience.
• At least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring store safety and cleanliness.
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Responsible for hiring and performance management.
