Job summary

Dollarama is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Ontario to support daily retail operations under the Store Manager’s guidance. You will help manage staff, stock, and customer service to meet sales goals and uphold brand standards.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Open availability across days, evenings, and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of retail experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and staff management.
• Support merchandising, stocking, and unpacking shipments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues.
• Train, coach, and develop employees to improve performance.
• Perform cash management and opening/closing duties as needed.
• Assign tasks to the team and ensure store safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.
