Job description

Umai Sushi(LHJH holdings Ltd.) is currently looking for a competent Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team.

Positions Available: 1

Wage: CAD$34.00 ~ 35.00/hour

Types: Full-time, Permanent

Working hours: 30.00 hrs/week

Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary for vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Assist a restaurant manager in directing and evaluating the daily activities and operations of the restaurant
• Implement company polices and operational procedures
• Train and motivate staff to ensure efficient service and high customer satisfaction
• Assist in recruiting, scheduling and overseeing staff performance
• Monitor inventory of food, beverages and supplies, and place orders as needed
• Review customer feedback and address customer issues professionally
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

Job requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the food service sector, including experience in a supervisory role, is required.
• Serving-it-Right certificate is required.
