The Role

As a key member of our team the Reservations Agent will be the first point of contact for potential guests, helping to create a memorable and personalized booking experience. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth, accurate reservations while delivering warm, attentive service that reflects the resort’s unique charm and high standards. You will handle individual reservations as well as assist with group, corporate, and travel agent bookings. The Reservations Agent is responsible for making reservations for guests based on their needs and requirements. The Reservations Agent will be able to multi-task with exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. They must be proficient in English and have great communications skills.

Your contributions to the team include:

• Ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner with a high-level of hospitality.
• Maintain and adhere to organization policies and procedures.
• Complete all reservations through multiple channels (phone and email) with a strong attention to detail.
• Deliver quality guest service when booking guests’ stay and offering to book other Resort and local activities.
• Share accurate knowledge about current pricing and promotions with guests and other departments.
• Assist Front Desk and other members of the department as needed with other duties and special guest requests.
• Act professionally and provide a service above and beyond guest expectations.
• Interact with guests throughout their stay, anticipate their needs, and aid in resolving concerns.
• Drive guest loyalty and build a strong relationship through communication and connections.
• Additional tasks and duties as assigned.

A few things we are looking for in a new team member:

• 1 year guest service experience.
• 1 year hospitality experience.
• Experience in a similar role making bookings or reservations.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and a positive team player.
• Professional and delights in providing exceptional guest service by anticipating guest needs with strong interpersonal skills.
• High degree of attention to detail and task prioritization.
• Proficiency with computer systems, such as Microsoft Office. Proficiency in typing is considered an asset.
