**this is a hybrid 4 days on site position, based out of our Etobicoke, ON office**

About you

As a Research Analyst supporting the Industrial team, you are a curious person with a keen eye for detail. You are constantly learning, trying to find the most efficient way to complete a process or make things simpler. You excel in managing multiple priorities, and enjoy providing strategic insights on the market and enhancing Toronto’s research capacities.

In this role, you will…
  • Prepare periodic research publications, market commentary, and other various materials including presentations, market reports, white papers
  • Monitor industry statistics and trends on current events to generate research content and thought leadership pieces.
  • Summarize and communicate analytic findings, insights and recommendations via executive-level summary documents, meetings and presentations.
  • Utilize database knowledge and data manipulation/query tools to manage existing Colliers platforms.
  • Assist with the review of quality control standards for the Research team and support the research and data collection function.
  • Actively participate and engage in meetings with the research and sales teams, building relationships within the industry.
What you’ll bring
  • Undergraduate degree required. Real Estate or Business post-secondary is an asset.
  • 2+ years’ experience in research role. Experience in commercial real estate preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including networking and relationship building ability
  • Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft 365 suites including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Experience in BI, data visualization and GIS tools would be an asset.
  • Attention to detail and an ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
