Overview

CBC New Brunswick seeks an experienced Reporter/Editor. In this role, you will deliver thorough, fact-checked, dynamic and compelling journalism to connect with audiences across all platforms. You will work as part of the CBC New Brunswick newsroom in collaboration with journalists across the three stations in the province to deliver news and current affairs content. Your work will be a mix of original stories and breaking news to serve our audiences in New Brunswick and beyond. This role requires full time on site presence. This is a full time temporary position until March 27, 2026. This position is based in Saint John.

  • Respond quickly to breaking news.
  • Write and package stories with photos and audio and video clips.
  • Take photos and gather audio and video.
  • Keep up to date on the changing media landscape.

  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets the minimum requirements of CBC/Radio-Canada's insurance company.
