Job summary

Affim is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (Senior TAM, L6) to own operational health across our strategic alliance portfolio. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure SLA delivery while driving custom integration solutions built on standard integrations.

You will mentor teammates and eventually manage a dedicated book of accounts with end-to-end ownership. You will partner with Product and Engineering, lead cross-functional initiatives, and act as a technical lead on internal

Qualifications

• Six+ years in a technical, external-facing role such as Technical Account Management, Solutions/Partner Engineering, or Solutions Architecture.
• Experience owning operational health of technical accounts and delivering against SLAs.
• Ability to run alerting, monitoring, troubleshooting across a set of accounts, balancing reactive work with proactive initiatives.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and the HTTP protocol; hands-on with Postman.
• Experience with API integrations and designing custom solutions on top of them.
• Ability to read production code and write queries in SQL; familiarity with Python beneficial.
• Strong communication to non-technical leaders and technical teams; ability to influence roadmaps.
• Leadership, mentorship, and ability to grow less-experienced TAMs.

Responsibilities

• Own operational health of technical account management across Affim's strategic alliance portfolio.
• Deliver against SLAs and surface technical risks proactively.
• Perform in-depth investigations and root-cause analysis across logs and data.
• Drive initiatives with partners on launches, expansions, and integrations.
• Design and deliver high-scope integration solutions built on standard integrations.
• Act as technical lead for internal projects and define milestones.
• Create playbooks, runbooks, and UAT plans to reduce KTLO work.
• Partner with Product/Engineering to prioritize projects and influence roadmap.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to interviewing and team development.
• Grow into ownership of a dedicated book of strategic accounts.
