Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) Team Lead to guide a group of TAMs supporting SMB merchants. You will mentor, align with Client Success, Product, and Operations to deliver scalable technical success post‑sale.

This role emphasizes hiring, OKRs, cross‑functional advocacy for merchants, and driving product integration, troubleshooting, and optimization opportunities across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a B2B customer-facing technical role and 3+ years as a people manager.
• Strong background in web development technologies and REST APIs with a CS degree or engineering experience.
• Excellent relationship builder and communicator capable of advocating for customers and affirm externally.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and develop TAMs
• Collaborate with Client Success to grow merchant network post-launch
• Establish and track team OKRs and goals
• Forecast demand for TAMs and recruit as needed
• Evaluate new hires' technical capabilities and guide on integrations
• Be an internal advocate for merchants across functions
