Qualifications

• Solid backend experience with Go, including understanding of goroutines, channels, and Go best practices.
• Comfortable with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, and can write efficient SQL queries.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and knowledge of designing endpoints for frontend applications.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript basics and motivated to work with React and Angular.
• Curious about the full request flow and eager to understand how all components fit together.
• Team player who proactively supports others and documents learnings.
• Comfortable working on production systems and ready for on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services in Go and work with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Make changes to mobile and web applications with support from frontend teammates.
• Own medium to large features from end-to-end and collaborate with senior engineers.
• Break down epics into manageable stories and identify technical risks.
• Participate in on-call rotation and learn to manage features in production.
• Review pull requests and provide feedback to help others grow.
