Job summary

A tech solutions provider is seeking a Developer Productivity Engineer to enhance productivity through tooling. This role involves managing local Kubernetes orchestration with Tilt, supporting a containerized environment, and collaborating on incident management workflows. Ideal candidates should be experienced in Kubernetes, automation, and cloud infrastructure. This is a 100% remote position based in Canada, offering a chance to work on impactful engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage usage of Tilt for local Kubernetes development.
  • Support Vivaldi for local Auth0 development.
  • Maintain and implement incident management workflows.
  • Develop and support custom Slack bot for engineering operations.

Skills

Experience with local Kubernetes orchestration tools
Experience in creating and maintaining Slack Bot applications
Expert in running services in internal production environments
Experience with no-code apps such as Tines or Zapier
Experience managing infrastructure with Terraform
Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB
Experience with Data Warehouses such as Snowflake
Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
Experience with at least one programming language
Experience working with incident management processes tools
Experience working with REST APIs
Experience with AWS Lambdas
