Regulated Pharmacy Technician

Our focus is optimal patient care using semi‑private counselling booths, counselling rooms, advanced robotic dispensing technology, monthly clinical programs and a cooperative team of pharmacists, regulated pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants.

Regulated Pharmacy Technicians have the opportunity to participate in several professional roles including Travel Medicine, INR monitoring, CDE, and Long‑term care. Responsibilities

Assist Pharmacists and the Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department. Duties include: customer service, telephone inquiries, general housekeeping, operating the pharmacy computer, processing and preparing prescriptions, ordering and receiving drug orders, and managing the pharmacy department inventory.

Qualifications
  • Registration with the College of Pharmacists (in the province of employment) is mandatory.
  • Good interpersonal skills when dealing with clients, staff, and management.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self‑starter with a high level of enthusiasm.
  • Ability to relate to all levels of customers and their needs.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a very fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work as a team player and have a team approach.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience preferable.

This is a Part‑Time position. Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday to Sunday.
