Position Information

Temporary position until October 03, 2027 (approximately)

Rotation / Shifts

Days and nights, including weekends, 12‑hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

• Certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Three (3) months recent experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and/or a Special Care Nursery
• Three (3) months recent ventilator experience
• Sound knowledge of the nursing process
• Desire and ability to participate in patient teaching
• Professional and respectful attitude toward patients, the public and colleagues
• Ability to work effectively as an active member of the health‑care team
• Commitment to personal continuing education activities
• Understanding of and participation in the evaluation process
• Understanding of the application and relevance of the nursing audit
• Eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in nursing
• Neonatal High Risk course
• Proficiency in English and French – oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level)
