Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the Fort St. John Hospital.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, the Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and the code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) within a patient‑ and family‑centered care model.

The Registered Nurse – Perinatal works collaboratively with the inter‑professional team, plans and provides direct patient care to obstetrical patients during the intra‑partum, postpartum and high‑risk ante‑partum periods and other assigned patients by assessing, planning, providing and evaluating nursing care.

The Registered Nurse demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.

Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre has 44 Acute Care beds and 124 residential beds and is equipped to handle 22,000 ER visits per year.

  • Endoscopy suite, 2 state‑of‑the‑art operating rooms, plus a procedure room
