A Canadian university located in Windsor is seeking a Reconciliation Accountant responsible for reconciling bank accounts to the General Ledger and supporting the Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will possess a post-secondary degree in accounting or business, with strong analytical and communication skills. Experience with complex reconciliations is preferred. The position offers a daily work schedule from Monday to Friday and requires excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel.

DEPARTMENT: Financial Accounting and Reporting
RATE OF PAY: As per schedule `A' - Unifor 2458 FT Collective Agreement
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm

The Reconciliation Accountant is responsible for the timely reconciliation of the University bank accounts to the General Ledger and for supporting the Senior Accountant in this regard. The Reconciliation Accountant also assists the Controller and the Senior Accountant in various accounting functions, analysis of general ledger accounts and preparation of working papers for the year-end audit.
