An organization supporting individuals with dementia is seeking volunteers to engage one-on-one with clients. The role involves helping individuals create a life story book over 8 weeks, while complying with confidentiality policies. Ideal candidates are responsible, dependable, and possess excellent communication skills. Training is provided, and all adults aged 18-54 are encouraged to apply. Commitment is 2 hours per week during the 8-week program.

The volunteer role engages one‑on‑one with an individual living with dementia to assist in creating a lasting Life Story book.
Life Story work benefits:
Meet once a week for an 8‑week in‑person session. Using guides and a computerized template, assist an individual to complete a 10‑20 page life story book with guiding questions and provided photographs. The first hour: work with individual; the second hour: formatting and editing the collected information.
