What We Are Looking For

Receptionist/Optometric Assistant’s Primary Responsibilities
  • Answering phone calls, emails, taking correct information and answering all questions efficiently, collecting health information
  • Greet patients in a friendly, courteous way and schedule or cancel optical examinations and appointments
  • Invoicing and/or insurance payments from patients
  • Pre-testing patients, prepping exam rooms, cleaning and setting up equipment, and showing patients how to care for contact lenses, perform tests such as OCT and VF
  • Answer a high volume of calls and maintain a high pace level of work
  • Assisting the doctors when needed
