Quality Technician

Are you passionate about quality and continuous improvement? We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Quality Technician to help ensure products and processes meet the highest standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining product integrity, supporting compliance, and driving improvements across operations.

What You'll Do :

  • Perform inspections and tests on materials, components, and final products to verify quality
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment within the plant
  • Help implement corrective actions by working closely with department leads
  • Monitor quality metrics and flag performance trends or issues
  • Support the introduction and application of updated quality control procedures
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to optimize processes
  • Troubleshoot product or production problems and assist with root cause analysis
  • Apply quality standards across daily tasks and ongoing projects
  • Review technical documentation and ensure product compliance with codes and specifications
  • Handle additional tasks as assigned to support quality and operations

What You Bring :

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred
  • ASQ certification is an asset
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
  • Project Management certification (completed or in progress) would be beneficial
  • Strong understanding of technical specs and documentation in industrial settings
  • Skilled in root cause analysis methods like FMEA, DFMEA, and PFMEA
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation
  • Working knowledge of machinery, production processes, and quality standards
  • At least 2 years in a manufacturing-based quality assurance or quality control role
  • Background in automotive, EV charging, or electrical industries is a strong advantage
  • Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Hands-on experience using precision measuring tools
  • Comfortable applying inspection criteria and summarizing results in clear reports
  • Some knowledge of electrical test tools such as multimeters is helpful
