Pursuit Collection – Jasper, AB – $22 an hour – Full‑time. Location: Jasper, AB. This seasonal role is part of our Spring/Summer 2026 hiring and runs full‑time during that period. Pursuit offers guests world‑class attractions, distinctive lodges, thoughtfully crafted restaurants, retail, and transportation services that let guests fully immerse in each location.

Role & Responsibilities

The Guest Services Supervisor manages the Pursuit Adventure Center (PAC). Key duties include:

  • Oversee daily PAC operation, ensuring full functionality with support from Hotel Front Desk Agents.
  • Serve as primary retail manager for the PAC retail store, collaborating with the retail operations team.
  • Provide guest service and front‑desk support when needed, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Execute attraction and retail sales, bookings, and resolution of guest issues.
  • Collaborate with the Retail & PAC Manager and Maligne Valley Retail Manager to maintain product stock and merchandising.
  • Maintain attraction and retail sales targets and implement promotional items.
  • Build and maintain relationships with affiliates.
  • Coordinate with the central reservations department on booking practices and product knowledge.
  • Implement standard operating policies relating to safety and employee engagement.
  • Act as the on‑floor daily operations lead and provide support to Guest Experience agents covering shifts.
  • Serve as a sales agent during operating week shifts.
  • Handle service‑recovery incidents with support from central reservations or Maligne Lake guest services; report larger issues to management.
  • Complete daily/weekly sales tracking reports.
  • Collaborate with Hotel Front Desk to schedule shared ticket‑agent staffing.
  • Manage daily cash handling practices, POS use, cash floats, change orders, and cash‑outs.
  • Coordinate with Jasper attractions guest‑service teams on FIT activity scheduling.
  • Ensure retail inventory and fixtures are stocked and clean.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory, point‑of‑sale, cash handling, and reconciliation experience.
  • Hospitality‑focused approach with a natural ability to actively listen and empathize.
  • Passion for coaching and developing employees with a proven track record of safety‑first practices.
  • Energetic, dependable, self‑motivated team player with high attention to detail.
  • Initiative‑driven and able to follow through on tasks.
  • Adaptable to changing work environments and varied responsibilities.
  • Outgoing personality suitable for engaging guests.
  • Competent administrative skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Self‑starter comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with limited supervision.
  • Comfortable on feet for extended periods, indoor and outdoor, in all season weather.
  • Class 5 driver’s license (clean abstract) – an asset.
