Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • 4 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 2 years at the Accounting Technician level or higher.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze accounting and operating procedures and initiate improvements.
  • Review, advise, and participate in the day‑to‑day processing of financial records.
  • Train and advise other staff and customers on accounting functions, policies and procedures.
  • Provide special project accounting services requiring coordination with other departments and agencies.
  • Prepare complex reconciliations on sub‑ledgers and account balances.
  • Direct the work of other financial services staff.
  • Review and analyze various financial reports and initiate corrective action.
