Job Description: The Psychologist Masters provides consultation to childcare providers in regard to children under six years who are perceived as exhibiting social/emotional behavioural difficulties. The Psychologist Masters completes assessments of referred children, collaborates with childcare providers to develop behavioural intervention plans and communicates with parents and other professionals involved with the children. In addition, the Psychologist Masters provides workshops and psycho-educational resources to caregivers and refers children and families to other community services. The Psychologist Masters also works as a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Children's Services Team and Youth Program. Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
