Qualifications

• Must have a current Standard First Aid Certificate or CPR level C Certificate.
• Some household management experience is preferred.
• Experience working with elderly or ill individuals or children.

Responsibilities

• Observe and evaluate the client’s or family’s home and personal situation.
• Contribute to the development of the personal support care plan.
• Implement changes to the care plan under guidance.
• Perform personal support tasks reflecting the client's needs.
• Provide personal care as directed.
• Communicate with the health team regarding client needs.
• Ensures compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
